Galilee, Bread, and Health
We have long talked about the importance of bread.
Scripture talks about Bread…. Lechem
As near as I can tell
- Yahusha was in the Galilee area…
Yochanan 6:1 says he crossed the Sea of Galil…
And this story happens
Yochanan (John)
6:1- 13 p 759
~
First, let’s talk about Galilee a bit…
I’ve been reading Rabbi Jonathan Chan’s The Book of Mysteries
Let me share a bit about what he says about Galilee…
“… Ever wonder why… He (Yahusha) made Galilee the center of
His ministry?
‘Because it was unlikely?’
‘Yes,’ said the teacher.
‘It WAS unlikely, but there was another reason. Centuries before Messiah’s coming the people
of Israel fell away from God and defied His ways. And then the judgment came as the armies of
Assyria ravaged and depopulated the regions of the north, namely the land of
Galilee. It was destroyed and left
desolate. Galilee was the first of lands
to suffer God’s judgement. So too
Galilee would be the first of lands to receive the comfort of God’s mercy in
the coming of Messiah. And it was of
this land that Isaiah prophesied, ‘There will be no more gloom for her who was
in anguish. In earlier times He treated
the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He
shall make it glorious, by the way of the sea, on the other side of
Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles. The people who walk in darkness will see a
great light. Those who live in a dark
land, the light will shine on them.’
‘So Galilee
was the first land to be broken,’ I said, ‘ and therefore the first to see the
power of God to bind up the broken and heal the crippled.’
‘yes.” Said
the teacher. ‘Galilee, the broken land…
and the land of the broken. And who do
you find in Galilee being drawn to Messiah?
The crippled, the leprous, the sick, the outcast, the sinful, the
defiled, the broken. Galilee is the land
where the broken find Him who came for the broken, to be touched by His hands,
and healed by His touch. The people who
walked in darkness saw a great light, Messiah, and in a dark land the light of God
lit up their lives. What is Galilee all
about? It’s about mercy, God’s mercy and
compassion for the broken and crippled of man.
‘And even
for those who are broken because they fell into sin and rebellion.’
‘Yes,’ he
said, ‘even those… especially those.’…
‘We are all
of Galilee.’”
~
Doesn’t that provide an interesting setting for the
story?...
And it was there – in the land of the broken… that Messiah
Yahusha gave bread.
Literal – Lechem.
And what happens after that story of Messiah feeding the
people?
He goes up the mountain alone.
The talmidim leave in a boat… They had rowed, (vs 19) 25-30
furlongs … and then they see Yahusha walking on the sea to them…
“It is I. Do not be
afraid” vs 20
They let him in the ship and “immediately” - “it was where they were going.”
And that created a big stir because there were people there
who saw who got into the ship.. and they knew He did not…”
Questions ensued…
25 “Rabbi, when did you come here?”
And in 6:26–51
p 760 He begins to teach…
So let’s go back to our beginning part of the story where
Messiah Yahusha fed the multitude.
How did He do it?
This is very important to grasp.
Yochanan 6:8-11
p 760
(It’s interesting to note that it was barley, not
wheat. Barely would have been a poor persons’
grain in that day.)
Verse 11 And Yahusha took the loaves; and when He has said the
bracha (blessing), He distributed to the talmidim (disciples)….
Other scriptures say – He took it and said a blessing – gave
thanks and broke it.
He gave thanks and distributed it – broke it… and it
multiplied!
Giving thanks is absolutely crucial in our lives.
I don’t think we understand this well enough!
Most of you know – that I have a part of some presentations
where I talk about the – 21 day gratitude program….
Every day
for 21 days (preferably at the same time, so you are more likely to remember
it,) you list three things you are thankful for. You can do it as a list or as a prayer. (Personally the prayer thing is way more
powerful… but you know the Living God honors
things in the ones who do not yet believe J
) Listing very specific things – no
repeats. (So not – I am thankful for my
wife. But, I am thankful for my wife who
cleaned up the kitchen after preparing all the food.) 21 days – because it takes that long to
begin to form the circuit that the habit will run on. Then you do it for three more sets of 21
days… and you have a habit! And this
makes a huge difference in lives!
Rabbi Chan also wrote:
“Giving thanks is crucial to a life of fullness and
blessing. On top of that, it also gives
you the power to perform the miracle of multiplication.
How?
By doing what He did.
You don’t look at how little you have, or how big your problem is or how
impossible the situation is. You don’t
panic, you don’t complain, and you don’t get discouraged over not having
enough. You take the little you have,
whatever good there is, no matter how small or inadequate it is, and you do
what Messiah did. You lift it up to YHUH
and you give thanks for it. And the
blessings you have will multiply, if not in the world, then in your heart. The more you give thanks, the less you will
hunger, and the more full and blessed your life will be.
So in order to perform miracles, I need to…
Give thanks. Whatever
you have no matter how much or how little.
Give thanks even for what is not enough, and it will multiply to become
what is enough … and what is more than enough… Practice this key. Then get started multiplying your bread.”
~
I believe YHUH is teaching me about being thankful.
Thankful for what I have
And thankful for what I do not yet see.
Over these past days…
things have been very challenging.
When your body is not well … it isn’t fun, comfortable or a
place to find faith… or is it?....
A few weeks ago now… I had started teaching on health using
Dr. Jerry Tennant’s work.
And we know that it is easy to get all caught up in the
negative of the world and the “medical” community and health.
We must, with all the intensity and emunah (faith) that is
in us…. Always be in a place of gratitude for what we have – as we learn to
step into more understanding and health.
We are the broken… our world is broken…
But a remnant survives….
His light is ALWAYS on the earth… until the new heaven and new earth…
and then it will be forever…
Please understand…
This is how we fight.

Now let’s learn some more about health…
Now let’s learn some more about health…

Jerry Tennant DC – Healing is Voltage is my
resource….
We talked about:
-
The way stats are done in research publications
now…
-
How eating fat – healthy fat- is very important
-
Ansel Keys – and his publications of his
work… that erroneously said – fats cause
heart disease, and cholesterol is a problem…
-
If hypothyroidism is corrected the incidence of
heart attacks was 0.26%.
-
The FDA is now giving statin drugs to
children! Despite the fact that the
younger you are when your cholesterol is low…
the greater risk of death!
-
Cholesterol does:
o
Repairs injuries, including scars
o
Water proof our cells
o
Makes vitamin D
o
Mineral absorption
o
Electron donor
o
Need for serotonin
o
Have to have it to repair brain.
o
All nerve cells are 50% cholesterol by weight
o
“There is NO WAY you can keep your brain
repaired if you take statin drugs.”
-
We talked about coronary artery disease… and
explained that his working theory is
“If artery dilates too much, it opens up a wound in the artery… and that
scars… and then plaque is created/collected there as the wound heals… when the cargo netting that is around the
artery fails… elastin and collagen - is
damaged by FLUORIDE.
There wasn’t much artery disease in USA until
we started adding fluoride into our environment.
-
Zeta potential = the magnetic field that
surrounds a particle/ Red Blood Cell
o
As voltage drops, Zeta Potential drops and RBC’s
clump
o
This is what the scar is in the artery…
-
Fluoride and hypothyroidism are the main causes
of heart disease!
-
Boron is the way to get fluoride out of the body
o
9 mg at bed time.
o
Inactivates heavy metals
o
Is antifungal
-
Also have to correct iodine levels!
