B’re’shiyt teaching... B’re’shiyt 1:9
page 34 in your study guide

“Vayyo’mer Elohiym yiq-qavu ham-mayim mit-tachat hash-shamayim el-maqom ‘echad v’tera’eh hay-yab-bashah vay’hiy ken.”

directly translated into English it reads:
“And said Elohiym, let be gathered together the waters under the heaven unto place one, and appear dry land: so and it was.”

English translation:
“And Elohiym said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so.”

Let’s review:

VAYYO’MER = and said, spoke, think, command, promise

ELOHIYM = the mighty one; YHWH

YIQ-QAVU = to gather, to wait, hope, yearn (related to miqvah / baptismal)

HAM-MAYIM = the waters

MIT-TACHAT = under, instead of in place of, understudy (mashiach tachat = anti-messiah

HASH-SHAMAYIM = the heaven

and we get to the new word...

EL-MAQOM
qof-vav-mem
root = qum = to arise, establish, place, home, to set into place.

Scriptures:

MATT 5:17 - Qum is translated as fulfill.

What do the gathering together of the waters have to do with “arise”??

... the literal understanding is that all the waters were set into one place (over all) - until the dry land appears and then the waters settle into the various places on the earth as the land raises up.

“ARISE” in Hebrew means to set into place, to take your place, to establish your place.”

“Arise O Lord” means - “to take your place”

This is not just about grace and mercy that flows from YHWH’s heart....but also that He is a judge and He judges with righteousness.

.... So, when we say - “arise oh Lord” - we are crying out that he establish...
Yesha’Yahu / Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine for the light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen up on me... = in English

or... in Restoration Scriptures:
“Arise, shine; for your Light has come, and the tifereth ( beauty, glory) of YHWH has risen upon you.”
notes say - “Messiah Y’shua our High Priest is the tifereth, or beauty of YHWH.”

1. Mizmor 7:6-8 = arise
2. Yesha’Yahu 60:1 = arise
3. Mishlei 19:21 = shall stand
4. Ma’sey hashSh’liyechiym /Acts 7: 49 = place
5. Mizmor 24:1-4 = His place
6. Mizmor 104: 6-10 = boundaries are set
  1. Yirmeyahu 5:22-23 = notice how obedience and disobedience relate to His creation

“To arise as in to establish a proper place.  “Arise O LORD” means for YHWH to take His place.”

~
Often you can hear people saying  that “4500 people were killed today by and act of God”

Brad Scott said...
“The book of Y’shaYahu /Isaiah reveals that even though YHWH - created the universe and knows the hairs on our head and intervenes through his sovereignty ...

....there is no were in Torah that YHWH is causing people to die in hurricanes etc.  but rather hasatan is responsible for making the world like a wilderness.

so we go on...
the boundaries are set and Yah has set them into place.
it takes an act - a flood or hurricane to go past their borders b/c they are not designed to be that way.

Gilyahna /Hitgalut / Rev - when Yah is chastising and judging b/c we have turned away from Torah - many times in saying we have turned away - He goes back to beginning and puts judgment and chastisement for disobedience... and this is one of those places.

Yir’m’yahu /Jer 5:22 he says... “fear ye not me sayth the Lord.”

But the Restoration Scriptures says...
“Don’t you fear me?  says YHWH:  Will you not tremble at My presence, that has placed the sand as a boundary of the sea by an eternal decree, that it cannot pass: and though the waves toss themselves, yet they cannot prevail against it; though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it?”

~
now we’ve heard fear defined as “reverential fear and awe of YHWH”

BUT....

Yarray = fear - means just exactly what you think FEAR means.. .

....that is shaking in your boots - fear and trembling - your knees knocking.

FEAR means FEAR!!

Torah parashah - Noach
read...
B’re’shiyt 6:1-7:1

**
Was this the first flood?

That is an interesting question isn’t it...

read
B’re’shiyt 1:1-9  (Restoration Scriptures True Name Edition)
1:9 “And Elohiym said, Let the mayim under the shamayim be gathered together to one place, and let the dry and appear, and it was so.  And the mayim under the shamayim gathered to their gatherings and the dry land appeared.”

Isn’t it interesting that many of us have read this a “zillion” times... but we always only understood it based on what we were taught!!!

We need to read the Scriptures for what they say... not what we were taught they mean!

So if we look at what it says...
after B’re’shiyt 1:2... there was no dry land...
...because it came up out of the waters.

Remember, we talked about how all of what was made came up out of the waters - they mayim - a baptism, a washing, a cleansing.

This makes YHWH’s promise after Noach’s flood even more profound... b/c there was a pattern of flooding the earth to clean it up - since Noach’s flood was the second flood.

*
Another point that comes up in these days we live in...

(And i don’t mean Noah the movie -that was an epic disaster not based on the Word!)

Mattityahu 24: 37-39 (Restoration Scriptures True Name Edition)  [ Also in Luke 17: 26-28
“37 But as the days of Noach were, so shall also the coming of the Ben Ahdahm be.  38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the yom of that Noach entered into the ark, 39 and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Ben Ahdahm be.”
{foot note = “Those taken away didn’t fly away in Noah’s day, but were taken away by the waters of judgment. In like manner the Great Tribulation will take the lost and the misled away, while the saved are left behind.”}

“As the days of Noach were, so shall also the coming of the Ben Ahdahm be.”

wow.  really?
What does that mean??...

... “as the days of Noach were, so shall the coming of the Ben Ahdahm be.”

*
If you have not read any of Thomas Horn’s books....  He does a lot of explaining about things that are going on in the world.

One of the things that Horn writes about is the nephilim...

 B’re’shiyt 6:4
...”Nephilim”....  “sons of Elohiym came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men who were of old, men of fame.”

Nephilim are the fallen melachim / angles.
They had sex with the daughters of men.... and giants / “men” with DNA that was mixed... fallen angels - aka demons DNA mixed with the DNA of  humans.

= a mixing of zera /seed.

Is something wrong with that?

D’varim /Deuteronomy 22:9 (RSTNE)
“You shall not sow your vineyard with different zera; lest the fruit of your zera that you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard, be kadosh and forfeited.”

~
Remember in B’re’shiyt 1:5 has the first mention  of
‘EREV
= the root is ‘arav
= it means = to mix or mingle
and we talked about how YHWH hates mixed.
Remember, the ... “little by little”... light goes into darkness (sin)....
It has to happen a little bit at a time, otherwise most of us would recognize.. if it was radical change.. ‘oh that’s evil - i don’t want that’... but if things are mixed....
  • evil with enough truth that it might be believable...
  • and if everyone is doing it...
  • “oh come on...”

-Little by little we step into darkness...
and also then... little by little - if we do Teshuvah  (repent and return to YHWH)... then we learn to walk in His agol/path.

*

In the days that Noach lived - before the flood - the earth was full of violence

B’re’shiyt 6:11 (RSTNE)
“The earth also was corrupt before Elohiym, and the wart was filled with violence.”

Interesting term that is - “violence” in English,
is chamas (hamas) in Hebrew.

It is a chet-mem-samech

chet = fence, divide, outside, half, protect
mem = chaos, might, blood, out of, what, how
samech = grab, hate, twist,  support, aid

...So we have a fence that brings division with chaos and blood with hate and twisted

= This is exactly CHAMAS / hamas today!!

~

Divre Hayamim Bet / 2 Chronicles 16:9 (RSTNE)

“For the eyes of YHWH run to and from throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on the behalf of those whose lev /heart is perfect toward Him....”

YHWH had to see the  tohu vavohu of the world...
  • the confused chaos and shockingly confused mess of the world...

BUT then His eyes found Noach...
B’re’shiyt 6:9 (RSTNE)
“These are the generations of Noach:  Noach was a tzadik man and perfect in his generations, and Noach had his halacha with Elohiym.”

tzadik = righteous
tzad - dalet -yud - qof

= tzad = wait, chase, hunt, desire, trouble - man on side
dalet = move, hang, enter, open , path, or way - door
yud = work, throw, make energize, worship - hand
qof = behind, last, rise, east, cycle, time, distinguish - rising sun

Strong’s says tzadik means
-just, lawful, righteous
-just, righteous (in government)
-just, right (in one's cause)
-just, righteous (in conduct and character)
-righteous (as justified and vindicated by God)
-right, correct, lawful

The word translated as“perfect” = in Hebrew interlinear is translated as “flawless”
In Hebrew it is = thmim
= tav-mem-yud-mem

tav= mark, sign, seal, own, covenant - crossed sticks
mem = chaos, might, blood, out of, what, how - water
yud = work, throw, make energize, worship - hand
mem  (again)

Strong’s says tamim means:
-complete, whole, entire, sound
-complete, whole, entire
-whole, sound, healthful
-complete, entire (of time)
-sound, wholesome, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity
-what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact (neuter adj/subst)

Noah wasn’t “perfect”.. but his heart’s desire was to serve YHWH... who maybe even Seth had told him about.

(think about that! - Imagine hearing the stories from the people who lived them!!)

Mike Clayton said...

“With this (Noach’s) desire, came obedience. Imagine once again just how crazy Noah must have appeared. Building a boat in the desert to save people from rain, a word not found in the dictionary at that time. Noah must have been laughed at, mocked and called all kinds of names by everyone he came in contact with. I mean, what would Noah think of next. wearing blue threads on the corners of His garment, resting on the seventh day from ark building, camping out for eight days during the fall, or maybe arguing with God whether to allow the pigs on the boat! Face it. Noah was strange in everyone's eyes except for The One who really counted.”

~
Also another thought is that clearly hasatan was trying to contaminate the blood line of man - because if he did - there would be no line for the Mashiach  to be born in...

So Noach’s bloodline is the only one that is pure.
(I don’t know what this means in relation to his son’s wives - whose families died.  hmmm)

~

Today ... our days...

Well, we know what rain is...  we know what it means at some small level - when it says “flood”.

And it seems we have much in common with Noach’s day...

right down to “chamas filling the earth”.

BUT more than that ...

Divre Hayamim Bet / 2 Chronicles 16:9 (RSTNE)
“For the eyes of YHWH run to and from throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on the behalf of those whose lev /heart is perfect toward Him....”

YHWH is still searching for those who are not prefect - but who are seeking HIM - whose heart’s desire is to serve YHWH.

-Those who are willing to be a peculiar kingdom of priests.

My prayer
Abba YHWH, if your eyes are still running throughout the whole earth... it is my heart’s desire that you make me one who is suitable for you to work through.

Show me
teach me
lead me....

These days are not easy...  but we are learning your TORAH emet - truth!!!  thank you...!!

AMEIN.
