*****
It has been said “If we don’t understand
the 2 Kingdoms/ houses, then we don’t understand 7/8ths of the Bible.”
Understanding the 2 houses.
I taught this several times before
people started to understand ....
and now...
If you search the internet you will see
almost everything contradicts this idea.
So i want to explain my understanding of
this...
But know this - just because i said “2
houses” - does not mean you can just bunch this in with the rest of the
teachings on “2 houses”!!
There is some very messed up stuff out
there - and typically a “2 house” teaching - is about exclusivity. - that you have to be blood line Yisra’el -
or you are not in.
The Word makes it clear that this is not
true.
And there are those that say - and
rightly so - Yisra’el was never lost!
They knew who they were - the disciples
knew who they were and went to them!!!
BUT alas, at this point in time - they
are lost...
Do you know your history/ your roots??
The point is many of us can say the
nation that our ancestors that came to the USA, came from - but if we know
that, that is all we know... and we are going to find out something a lot
deeper today!
~
We are learning that there is conflict
in nearly everything taught.
What if it is not that hard.
The Torah says - “It is not too
hard”....
So ...
Let’s look at this....
Melechim Aleph (1 Kings) 11:1-13
RSTNE p 259
Melechim Aleph 11:42 -
12:1-24 RSTNE p 260
-
note - read these two chapters
carefully and you will find that there was a Torah violation going on here -
that Yisraelites can’t be servants to other Yisraelites. (11:28)
*****~~~~~~*****
Who are the Kingdoms/ houses?
Let’s first start with a
word issue...
Just like Torah has many
meanings - like five books and Tanakh and ALL the word...
so does Yisra’el.... = northern kingdom and ALL of YHWH’s people.
-
See handout!!

“For I would not, Yisra’elite brothers,
that you should be ignorant of this mysterious secret, lest you should be wise
in your own pride and conceit: that partial blindness has happened to Yisra’el,
until the fullness of the nations - the melo hagoyim - comes in.”

Yoshiyahu the melech, have you seen that which backsliding Yisra’el ha done? She is gone up to every high mountain and under every green eytz, and
there has played the harlot.
7 And i said after she had done all
these things, Teshuvah to Me. But she
made no teshuvah. And her perverted
sister Yahudah saw it.
8
And I saw, that for all the reasons which backsliding Yisra’el committed
adultery I had put her away, and given her a Get of divorce; yet her perverted
sister Yahudah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.”

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 11:11-12
RSTNE p 303
“And it shall come to pass that in that
yom, that YHWH shall set His hand again a a second time to recover and restore
the remnant of His people, who shall be left from Ashshur (Assyria), and from
Mitzrayim (Egypt/sin), and from Pathros, and from Kush, and from Eylam, and
from Shinar and from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.
12 And He shall set up a miraculous
Banner for the nations and He shall gather the outcasts of Yisra’el, and gather
together the dispersed of Yahudah from the four corners of the earth.”

Ephesians 1:9-10 RSTNE p 883
“Having
made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His tov pleasure which
He has purposed in Himself.
10That
in the administration of the fullness of times He might gather together in one
all things in Moshiach, both which are in the shamayim, and which are on the
earth even in Him.”
Ephesians 2: 12
“That
at that time you were without Moshiach, being excluded, aliens from the
Commonwealth of Yisra’el, as gerim from the
covenants of promise, having no tikvah (hope), and without Eloah in the
olam hazeh”
=Shaul is explaining how Yechezkel’s
revelation of the 2 sticks/houses happens.
Ephesians 3:3
- again talks about the mystery...
The mystery is that the Northern Kingdom
would come back into covenant and....
BECAUSE the Bridegroom died - and
Resurrected - he can remarry Yisra’el....
The “Good News” of all of Torah is that
YHWH came as Y’shua HaMashiach and died and rose ... and Because He did this... the
LOST SHEEP of YISRA’EL can return!! :)
*
There are many that say
the 2 house teaching is not true.
I don’t understand this - when we have
just read so many Scriptures where there is clearly a division and a divorcing.
Mostly those who disagree with the 2
House theology say...
1. The northern tribes were
never lost.
This
is true in that when a nation was taken captive, the leaders were taken - but
the lowly people were left there to tend the land... and they would have known who they were.
but
let me add - that even in Y’shua’s day - the woman at the well story - says
clearly that Yisra’el was already worshiping differently. And she didn’t seem to have an understanding
that she was the same as Yahudah because
she talks of being different.
*
**The other important thing to note is
this...
“Origin” by Yair Davididy
and
and
“Mosheim Institute of Ecclesiastical
History” p 200, 1775
Throughout the
centuries these believers were hidden for the most part
from the rest
of the world, and were often called by many different names by those who came
in contact with this peculiar people devoted to the commandments of Yahweh. The
Nazarenes were called Waldenses, because they lived in valleys in the
formidable Northern Italian Alps. Variations of this name are wallenses, valdesi,
vaudois, valdes and valdenses. They have also been called passagii, pasagini, passaginians
and passageros to name a few more. They have been accused of Judaism, and were
always considered one with the traditional rabbinic Jews by their enemies
because they kept the Law of Moses, the Sabbath and the feasts of Yahweh.
For over 1000
years the Waldenses lived in Northern Italy (Piedmont). Some spread across the
near border into Southern France, and some even went into Spain, until heavy
persecution in the late 13th century drove the few survivors into Northern
Germany-Switzerland, Holland, and Bohemia-Moravia-Austria. These Waldenses
always lived in their own communities, had their own distinctive simple dress
(they often wore gray or black, and avoided being ostentatious), had their own
distinct language, were proficient in the knowledge of the Scriptures in Latin,
Greek, Hebrew, and their own language, required their children to memorize long
portions of Scripture, and sent out missionaries as traveling salesmen-peddlers
to minister to people who were open to the truth.
While they
were usually called Waldenses or Pasagini in Italy, their enemies began to call
them by new names. The Waldenses in Holland were called Lollards in the 1300’s.
“Lollard” comes from the Flemish word lollen or lullen, which means to mumble
or speak softly. The Waldenses in Holland gained this name from outsiders as a
result of the habit they practiced of memorizing and repeating the Scriptures
to themselves and others in a mumbling sort of way. By the 1500’s, they were
called Mennonites after Menno Simmons, a convert to the movement, who became a
strong leader and coordinator among the Waldensian congregations in Holland. The
Waldenses in Moravia-Bohemia were soon called Picards, and by the 1500’s they
were called Hutterites, after Jakob Hutter, a convert, who successfully
organized the people into communities where they shared all things in common,
including material possessions. According to Mennonite history, the Austrian
government in May 1529 seized Jakob Hutter’s establishment because they had
heard news of a “synagogue” forming. He was reported to have been seen
baptizing ten men in a river. A few years later, Jakob Hutter became a martyr
in the faith. (The Mennonite Encyclopedia, The Mennonite Publishing House,
1972). The Waldensians that fled into Switzerland were called Amish by the
1700’s, after Joseph Amman, a major leader and organizer among the Swiss
Community.
The Waldenses
were also called Anabaptists because from the beginning they rejected the
Catholic notion of infant baptism, declaring it invalid and stating that those
recipients would need to be baptized again as adults. According to Thomas
Armitage in his, A History of the Baptist, 1886, Anabaptism was not a 16th
Century invention; it was already listed among the two or three heresies
subject to the highest penalties in the 6th C. under the civil law code of
Justinian.
“We have now
seen that the Baptists, who were formerly called Anabaptists and in later times
Mennonites, were the original Waldenses and have long in the history of the
church, received the honor of that origin. On this account, the Baptists may be
considered the only Christian Community which has stood since the apostles, and
as a Christian society which has preserved pure the doctrine of the gospel
throughout the ages.... The Mennonites are descended from the tolerably pure
evangelical Waldenses, who were driven by persecution into various countries,
and who during the latter part of the 13th C. fled into Flanders, and into the
provinces of Holland and Zealand, where they lived simple and exemplary lives,
in the village as farmers, in the towns by trades, free from the charge of any
gross immoralities, and professing the most pure and simple principles which
they exemplified in a holy conversation. They were in existence long before the
reformed church of the Netherlands.” Dr. Ypeij and Rev. J.J. Dermout, History
of the Dutch Reformed Church, Vol. 1, 1819.
The Scriptural
Sabbath practice of the Waldenses in the Italian Alps continued among the
Anabaptists in the 16th century.
“The
Anabaptists continued observing many of the same external points as the
Waldensians, such as they viewed the Old Testament of great importance,
retained the Waldensian translations of the Bible, which had the epistle of
Paul to the Laodiceans, continued to worship using the same forms of prayers
and hymns, the same observations of the (Passover) once a year, the same view
towards congregation buildings free from idols and crosses, simple plain
dress... all showing that the 16th C. Anabaptists descended from the
Waldensians.” John T. Christian, A History of the Baptists, Vol. I Ch. 7 and 8.
*
So.... even though there is much
historical proof that the Mennonites came directly from Yisra’el.... people don’t know this.
So even though not all the people were
taken captive...
As of TODAY - we don’t know much about
what people groups came out of Yisrael.
They are in fact - lost in the nations!!
**
2. Those who deny the 2
house theology also say that - It can’t be right b/c those who believe in 2
house - say that you have to be of those 2 houses to be saved!
Well, we are NOT saying that - because
the Word doesn’t say that...
~~
As Moshe led the people out of
Mitzriem - who came out??
Sh’mot (Exodus) 12:38
RSTNE p 57
“And
a mixed multitude went up also with them;”
“mixed multitude” = EREB -
EREB’s
root = charab
(switch
the beit and the resh == reverseing the
head of the house = arab)
= those who are not biological
Yisra’elites but became Yisra’el!!
*
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 56:6-7
RSTNE p 339
*
Romans 11 is all about the tree and those grafted in !
*
We are NOT saying - that you have to be
bloodline to be saved - b/c the Word says - if you choose to follow YHWH - you
are in.
The only blood that matters is
Y’shua’s!!
**
3. People that disagree with the 2 house
teaching also say:
That the Torah is clear
that there are three groups of people -
Yisra’el, Yahudah, and the
Nations.
and that is just what we said!
*
BUT there is this one thing that comes
up for me...
Y’shua’s line - that he came “ONLY for
the lost sheep of the House of Yisra’el.”
(Yisra’el being both kingdoms??)
....... so..... who would that be and how does that fit?
The 2 Kingdoms -
The North - Yisra’el
and the South - Yahudah
and their grafted in members - is the
only way to describe this.
**
Clearly the Word talks about Yisra’el
and Yahudah being divided.
Clearly the Word also talks about more
than blood Yisra’el (the whole of the 2 Kingdoms) having salvation!
And over and over the Word talks about
Teshuvah and YHWH promising to regather the Bride!!
In 2003 YHWH gave me what i’ve come to
call “a download” of the Bride of (I said - Christ) in those days....
being the 2 Kingdoms...
We have to understand that the
Bridegroom - walked between the animal halves... and died instead of us - for
our sin...
individually, but for the adultery
/pagan-ness of of Yisra’el...
AND ROSE - He can remarry the Bride.
This is the Besorah - the Good News!!
AMEIN
