B’re’shiyt teaching number 26!!
page 29 in your study guide...

Last week we started with

B’re’shiyt 1:7

“Vay-ya’as Elohiym ‘et - haraqiya’ vay-yav’del beyn ham-mayim ‘asher mit-tachat laraqiya’ uveyn ham-mayim ‘asher me’al laraqiya’ vay’hiy ken.”

“And made Elohiym the firmament, and divided between the waters which were under the firmament between the waters which were above the firmament: so And it was.”

~
... and last week we talked about -

Vay-ya’as = root is asah = to make to do, to prepare, perform, fulfill, appoint, rearrange

and then we talked about davar hilmad me’anino = where the second part expands on the first

~
So today we are starting with the second word of B’re’shiyt 1:7

Then we have  the word
Elohiym  = God

and ET  =  aleph Tov - Yahshua the Messiah

~
The next word is

 haraqiya  -

Ha = the” …
 = the raqiya
raqiya = being the expanse that is divided : the middle

Remember  this statement here is an expansion of the statement that Yah already made in verse 6 = a davar hilmad me’anino.

He already said let there be a division/ expanse between the waters and now He is going to say - “and God made the firmament and God divided between the waterswhich were under the firmament”
~
The next word is
vay-yav’del = and divided (first in 1:4)
~
Then is the word -
beyn = between

~
the word -asher - a participle = which or who
- in this context b/c it is speaking of inanimate objects it is which were

~
Then we come to a new word... at the top of page 30 in study guide...

Mit-tachat = translated here as the word under

root = tachat  - tet chet tet

generally translated as = under, instead of, in place of.
(the mashiach tachat = the anti messiah)

The literal meaning = “something in place of something - something instead of something.”

It is where we get the word -  understudy

Breshiyt 4:25 cjb p 5  = is a famous instead of’” - Abel was already killed by Cain, and Seth is born.    and Chava says.. For God has granted me another seed in place of Hevel Abel.”
in place of= tachat

The whole idea here in Breshiyt 1:7 ...
is that we have the waters above which is going to represent things heavenly…
...and then we have waters and things under or below…

this is why tachat is used b/c the “understudy” is positionally below the lead actor, if you will. it is positional…

By nature the one that is under wants to take the place of that which is above …

...We are going to see that picture throughout the rest of scripture with jealousy and power struggle and heavenly battles taking place where hasatan desires to like YHWH

The real lead actor is Yahshuaand there is a mashiach tachat (anti Messiah)

The whole idea of anti messiah is not so much that he is against him or even that he is the opposite of him...
.... but that he wants to be “instead of” the Messiah!!

Breshiyt 22:13  cjb p 21Avrahams Akeida
Avraham takes Yitzchak to the mountain…  22:8 - Yah will provide himself for a offering…
vs 12, 13 God did not allow Avraham to slay his son his onlyson
vs 13 - ram stuck in thicket

Remember the root for God or Elohiym  -EL -

Well this is so amazing.....
EL is based on the word for ramand the reason being ...
is that the ram represents power

- its that creative power of Elohiym that is rooted in the ram and so in order to further express what Yah is going to do on that hill 2000 years laternot only does he provide himself as the lambbut we have this ram - the EL caught in the thicket.. and Avraham offered the ram up - the EL up in the tachat - instead of or in place of his son.

 1 Yochanan 4:3  cjb p 1527
... “and every spirit which does not acknowledge Yahshua -is not from YHWH - in fact, this is the spirit of the Mashiach -tachat  (anti Messiah).  You have heard that he is coming.  Well, he’s here now, in the world already!”

  • Here, we have the anti messiah appearing in the first epistle of Yochanan and mentioning in the following verses  that the spirit of the mashiach tachat is already in the world

  • We already know, according to other scripture that there will be an actual physical manifestation

( 2 Thessalonians 2  cjb p 1478 also talks about that but Yochanan reveals to us as he speaks.. there is a spirit of mashiach tachat.)

 What he is saying is that in order for people to follow the mashiach tachat  - he has prepared the world spiritually ...
  • In other words - he has prepared people to receive a mashiach unlike the Mashiach presented in the Torah…

Let me say that again....he has prepared people to receive a mashiach unlike the Mashiach presented in the Torah…

You might say... “Janet, are you kidding me??  That is crazy!!!...”

Yep, not kidding.

This is exactly why we teach the Word and we are to obey all his Torah !!!

 We see lie after lie - traditions of the church that are not biblical!!!

Whar are the traditions of the church that are not biblical??!!

They are the traditions of man....  which would be  -- not keeping Sabbath and/or the Moedim of YHWH = the Feasts of YHWHand replacing them with mans traditions

.....REPLACING -  the nature of what Yahshua  HaMashiach did on the stake ....

..... with the nature of a mashiach who did something else on the cross!!!

  • Now i am going to say something that will be very challenging for some people.... but truth is truth....
The Messiah who hung on the stake in the Torah is the one who died for our sins…

....BUT the christ who hung on the cross - according to modern christian theology  - is the one who ended the instructions of the Torah of YHWH on the cross!

........  and THAT is the spirit of the mashiach tachat already in the world, deceiving the world and changing the nature of the true Mashiach.
(Brad Scott says...I will continue to pound that  -- until someone shoots me dead.)

This is why Jewish people can’t follow the christian jesus....
..... b/c the christian jesus - according to christian teachings and even some christian bibles... came to END THE TORAH!!!

 ......This is Mashiach tachat!!!!

2 Thessalonians 2:8 cjb p 1479 is also about the mashiach tachat
“Then the one who embodies separation from Torah, will be revealed, the one whom the Lord Yahshua will slay with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the glory of his coming.”

Galatians 3:25 cjb p 1455 “under” = “tachat”
Now this is different!!...
The word “tachat” is used to show that the Messiah is instead of Torah.
BUT -  pay close attention here...
What we mean by instead of Torah” is .....rather than Torah being etched in stone tablets - we have the Word of  YHWH written in our hearts of flesh!!

.Yahshua did not get rid of the 613 instructions - rather He is the physical manifestation of these Words!

  • in other words…  instead of the commandments being just on stone - they came in the flesh as Yahshua the Messiah .

  • In this way -  Yahshua is “instead of - tachat”…  this is all over scripture -

Yechezkel /Ezekiel 36:26  cjb p 690
“I will give you a new heart (new wind/ ruach) and put a new spirit inside you; I will take the stony heart out of your flesh and give you  a heart of flesh.”

- a new heart - a new spirit.
This is a picture that the law /instructions will not be just on stone but in us!

We need to look to the new Jerusalem  and the Messiah. He will give you the heart and nature and Spirit of YHWH in the flesh…  He is sending the Messiahthat is -  the true Mashiach…

The instead of Mashiach” the anti messiah - the  Mashiach tachat - convinces most - that YHWH has gotten rid of the instructionsand that is because the instructions/ laws are life!!!

Mashiach tachat = death - he destroys and steals and kills.

and according to

Daniel 7:25  cjb p 1110 - he changes the times and seasons and the commandments
He will speak words against the Most High and try to exhaust the holy ones of the Most High.  He will attempt to alter the seasons and the law; and [the holy ones] will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

so that is a false Mashiach... the Mashiach tachat.

~~
Sogetting back to the Breshiyt teaching

...  The waters that are under are representing the things of the earth - as opposed to or “instead of” the heavenly things.

There will be a distinction not only of light and darknessbut what is above and what is below.

Only the Word of YHWH divides and makes a distinction between the heart and soul

His desire is to bring them together
how do you do that?
....... by brining down the things of heaven b/c the things of earth will never be able to reach up to heaven

you dont ignore the soulish earthily things -
- you change them by the Word of YHWH

The number of this day is the 2nd day - here in B’re’shiyt 1:7...
and this day - unlike all the other days except for the 7th day , is not declared good.
Yah is not going to call this day goodand there is a specific reason why he doesnt call it good.

*************************************************

Let’s go to the Torah Parashah for today...

D’varim 3:23- 7:11 cjb p 200

“Va’etchanan” - “I pleaded”

This parashah starts out with Moshe PLEADING to YHWH - to be able to go into the promised land...

Finally YHWH sends him up Mt Pisgah so Moshe can see the land, but he can never go in it....

D’varim 4:1 cjb p 200
“Now Isra’el, listen to the laws and rulings i am teaching you  in order to follow them, so that you will live; ....”

read
D’varim 4:28 - 40 cjb p 202
{D’varim 4:40 cjb p 202.... “Therefore, you are to keep his laws and mitzvot which i am giving you today, so that it will go well with you and with your children after you, so that you will prolong your days in the land YHWH your Elohiym is giving you forever.”

Why keep the Word / teaching / Torah / instructions/ mitzvot /  laws....?????

“So that you will with you...... and ..... So that it will go well with you and your children after you... so that you will prolong your days in the land of YHWH your Elohiym is giving you forever.”

HMMM.....

Maybe we should take this very seriously....

**
Rabbi David Fohrman makes some interesting points i’d like to share with you about the 10 Commandments....

2 tablets....

Look at half on one and half on the other... (line them up)

Tablet 1:

1.  I am YHWH your Elohiym

2.  No idolatry

3.  Do not take YHWH’s name in vain

4.  Honor the Sabbath

5.  Honor your father and mother

Tablet 2

  1. Do not murder

  1. No adultery

  1. Do not steal

  1. Do not bear false witness

  1. Do not covet

*

The first tablet is about relationship with the Creator

and the second tablet is about relationship with people.

~
Notice the Honor your Father and Mother - on the relationship with the Creator.  = My parents in a sense, are my creators and they are above me....  they are authority figures...

~~

We’ve just looked at the 10 Commandments at one level...
let’s look at them at a second level....

What if the ones on the first tablet line up with / are related to the ones on the second tablet...  like mirror images of each other...

So that would mean...

  1. I am the YHWH your Elohiym  lines up with  6 Do not murder

How are they related?....  Some fundamental way  - these are the same thing...
a desire to murder...  well that might not be what you choose ...

That would be getting rid of them objectively...
so instead - you get rid of them subjectively....  you ignore a person..

and what do we do since we can’t kill YHWH?....

people can just  ignore YHWH...

do not ignore... deal with the person...

and deal with YHWH :)

~
  1. No idolatry   --- 7.  No adultery

= Don’t betray a sacred relationship

There are 2 sacred relationships...  worship of YHWH by people, and marriage....

Idolatry betrays the sacred relationship between YHWH and people

Adultery betrays a sacred relationship of marriage.

~
Are you starting to see how the 2 tablets are related...???

What about the 3rd one...

3.  Do not take YHWH’s name in vain 8.  Do not steal

Taking YHWH’s name in vain is is stealing from YHWH....  stealing respect and honor and that most high place in our lives.....
~
  1. Honor the Sabbath 9.  Do not bear false witness

Look at this one....
If i am not keeping the Shabbat - then i am bearing false witness!!

~
  1. Honor your father and mother 10. Do not covet

If I am coveting something - I am wanting something I do not have.
If i am not honoring my parents - respecting them etc... then my focus is NOT on them... as in taking care of them, lifting them up with resect... and i am busy looking at something else - making something else be a desire... instead of desiring to please and bless my parents.

~~~~
Do you see how they relate side by side... ?  That is the 2nd level of looking at this scripture.
Now let’s consider the 3rd level of understanding this scripture...
The 3rd level - is how does the first line lead to the second line to the third line...
  1. I am the YHWH your Elohiym  lines up with  6 Do not murder
  1. No idolatry   --- 7.  No adultery
I have to have the first... to have the second....
look at the third row...
3.  Do not take YHWH’s name in vain 8.  Do not steal
and the 4th...
  1. Honor the Sabbath 9.  Do not bear false witness
and 5th...
  1. Honor your father and mother 10. Do not covet
Do you see that if you don’t have the first level - you can’t do the second and if you don’t have the first two then you can’t do the 3rd... and if you don’t have the first three.... etc.....  ?????
~
And finally to switch gears a second....
i have to point out that the Sh’ma is in Torah Parashah.
D’varim 6: 4-9
