Melchizedek Update

.Torah Parashah - Miketz  B’re’shiyt 41:1-44:17
Melchizedek Update
            Based on Matthew Nolan’s teaching of Melchizedek.

Overview of the Melchizedek Priesthood of the Messiah - Harbour Light Ministries

Pin It

Melchizedek means = my king is righteous or Righteous King

Let’s start with the Christian name for Messiah: Jesus Christ. Some people actually think that Christ is His last name. Christ means, “any anointed one.” The letter J wasn’t invented until 1530, so His name could not have been Jesus.

Jesus Christ cannot be his name. Add this to the consideration of the 3rd Commandment in Shemot (Exodus) 20:7 “You shall not bring the Name of YHUH your Alohim to vain emptiness …” This might be a problem!

D’barim (Deut) 29:29 p 161
“The secret things belong to YHUH our Alohim: but those things that are revealed to us and to our children le-olam-va-ed, that we may do all the words  of this Torah.”

Mishle (Prov) 25:2 p 562
“It is the tifereth of Alohim to conceal a matter:  but the honor of melechim is to search out a matter.”

Matthew Nolan said – (Paraphrased)
YHUH hides mysteries because people don’t deserve them unless they search out and do the work!

So here is the picture:

In the middle is THE Narrow Road
On the one side is Rabbinic Law
On the other side is a lawless ditch…

Where are we walking?

In Luke 24: 13-34 p 752 The road to Amma-Us story….
Two of them went to Amma-Us… talking about all that had just happened… and Yahusha shows up only they don’t know it is Him… and they give Yahusha the briefing…
“The Messiah is DEAD… they stole his body…”

            -It seems like they were abandoning their faith is Messiah.

What are we supposed to do to be saved?

We’ve heard it is the “sinner’s prayer”… is that right?
(Yes I know Romans 10:9 – “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Master Yahusha, and shall believe in your lev that YHUH has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”)

And what are we supposed to do when life is hard?

Mattityahu 6:33 p 682
“So you seek first the malchut (Kingdom)  of YHUH, and His tzedakah (righteousness):  and all these things shall be added to you.”

The KEY is the Righteous Kingdom = Malchut tzedakah.

Romiyah (Romans) 10:2 p 846
“for I bear them record that they have a zeal for YHUH, but not according to da’at (knowledge).”

Matthew makes the point here that this scripture is talking about a zeal not according to knowledge… they were ignorant of righteous Melchizedek calling of the priesthood…
            They established their own plan in the culture… the religious culture taking pseudo priests and combining it with the popular culture… and you get a “culture club.”

This is part of why we are to “Guard our hearts.”

But we are supposed to FIRST seek the Malchut tzedakah – Kingdom of Righteousness.

Romiyah 10:4 p 846
“For Moshiach is the actual goal of the Torah for an eternal Tzadik standing to everyone that believes.”
-Messiah is the goal of Torah and eternal righteousness for all who follow/be committed to.

If we read Ivrim (Hebrews) 6-7… we start to understand this even better!

So why is it that it is so easy to accept the offer on the table that is not YHUH’s?
Why is it we have all just followed what Matthew calls “the veneer” and not the tzedakah?
He goes on to say that “Tzadok is a  contrite Hebrew word that is attached to real people.”

But why do people accept the offer from hasatan and not the Malchut Tzedakah?

“If you track malchut Tzadik back … you will get to YHUH.
If you track “Christ” back … you will get to one of the Greek gods.
If you track “J” back – you get to an invention in 1530.”

But the Christians say – “we are under grace.”

Well the Torah does say that “Noah found grace in YHUH’s sight.” (B’re’shiyt 6:8) So the question becomes, do we understand what grace means?

Grace is the Hebrew word chen or chesed.

Matthew said…
The word grace actually appears 3 times more in the Tanakh than in the Brit Chadasha, it didn’t start at Pentecost.

Grace is not a license to sin and not obey the law.

Grace actually means = an empowerment to live holy and righteous in a sick and twisted world!

Matthew said, “The Christian church is not under YHUH’s grace.  They are under His mercy – the withholding of righteous judgment…If they were under grace – they’d be keeping the law!”

Ivrim (Heb) 10:26 p 820
“For if we sin willfully after that we have received the da’at of the emet, there remains no more sacrifice for sins.”

Ivrim 5:13 p 816
“For everyone that uses milk is unskilled in the Word of tzedakah: for he is a baby.”
Where did Melchizedek come from?
Where do we see Yahusha walking in this?

B’re’shiyt 14:18 p 17
“And Malki-Tzedek melech of Salem brought out lechem and wine:  and he was the kohen of Al-Alyon.”

Tehillim (Psalms) 110 p 536

Ivrim (Heb) 5,6,7 p 815

That’s it.. right?  Wrong…
But that is where it is written out…

In about 2008 I was awakened with a strong voice that said…
“You are climbing the mountain of Melchizedek.”

And I had no idea what He meant!  I started to study…
And I have a much better idea now than I did when that happened!
Praise Yah!

So let’s consider
B’re’shiyt 14 p 17
There was a war of kings… we know now it was a war against giants.

And in the end… Abram takes bread and wine from the Melchizedek and he gives a tithe – a 1/10th….

What was going on here?

One of the kings is Chedarloamer – and he was actually a descendant of Shem.
So Abram had just slaughtered a descendent of Shem.
Gen 10:22 – Chedarloamer was son of Eylam
Gen 10:22 Eylam was a descendant of Shem.

And Abram was a descendant of Shem through Arphaxad.

So this was a family feud… and to bring shalom the Melchizedek came to negotiate a peace treaty!

(This is exactly what Messiah comes to do…He will come to bring peace to a family feud …after a great war between kingdoms and nations. And be king of the Tribes and the nations. The Prince of Peace!)

This is what the war was about…
Listen closely…

Tehillim 2:1-4 p 497
            The word “bands” = “break the traditions of the fathers – the Melchizedek….

“Bands” = mosar in Hebrew = “to break the traditions of the Melchizedek” in context.
= “that which has been intertwined and passed down in a line / a sequence or an ordering through the generations.”

This is what the war with the giants was about in Genesis 14!

It was a war against the priesthood!

Today there is still a war against the Melchizedek Priesthood!

Some people want to live pagan and lawless.
And some people want Levitical law/customs.

Right after Abram gave his tithe offering… and made shalom – he was given a promise of KINGSHIP (children) and LAND in Genesis 15!!

Let’s consider
Tehillim 110 p 536
110:5
King James – which is from the Masoretic text (remember the mazorites don’t like Yahusha!)  says: - YHUH at right hand.

But  Septuagint says  - YHUH at your right hand.

Who sits on the right hand of YHUH? Yahusha.

So is Yahusha, YHUH?
“YHUH is Alohim and he tore out his bosom and his bosom became flesh and walked among men and somehow that became a trinity!”

D’barim 6:4 (Sh’ma)
            “YHUH is echad/one – a plural one…

The Greeks believed in trinity and this term morphed into Christianity.
… “and this is how they assimilate all their Greek gods into plural monotheism = the faith that was delivered to the kodoshim.”

The war between Yitzchak and Ishmael is because Ishmael didn’t receive Melchizedek.

Who is the Melchizedek line?

Genesis 5 p 12
1 Adam
2 Shem
3 Enosh
4 Kenan
5 Mahalal
6 Yared
7 Methushelach
Not (Enoch) Chanoch – because he was taken up
Not Lamech – he died before Methuselach
8 Noah
9 Shem
10 Eber
11 Yitzchak
12 Yakob
13  maybe ?

LEVI – Book of Law

Later – King Solomon declared himself a righteous king… because he wanted to return to the Melchizedek.
His father, King David, had already seen the need for the tzadokites  - the sons of Tzadok …

Hebrews tells us we can be righteous priests through Yahusha with prayers of supplication and crying tears to learn…

Who were the Essenes?
We used to understand that they were the ones who lived in Kumron.

Now Matthew is teaching something new..

The believers in Kumron – were not Essenes… they were tzadokites!

Tzadokites in Kumron

            We know the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in Kumron in 1947
By a Bedowin heardsman.

In manuscript 11 Q 13 it is all about the coming of Melchizedek!

Matthew taught
“To the Kumron sect of Tzadokites  - the Melchizedek was the ever present hope and their immanent reality.”

Melchizedek is our immanent reality!

Tzadokites believed that Melchizedek and Moshiach were interconnected.

Except – The Melchizedek would appear and he would be an exalted divine being….
… So much so that in modern manuscripts where we find YHUH – in the Dead Sea Scrolls – we find Melchizedek.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 61:2 is an example.

The Mazorite scribes hid this!

But from the reign of King David,  the Tzadokites appear as priests!

-Priests with a  problem – they had no righteous covenant to attach their righteous priesthood to.

Tzadokites were in the temple leading the priesthood until Antiochus came in with the Maccabees and the Hasmonean dynasty.

At that point – the Tzadokites were thrown out of the Temple.
They took nothing with them but the Holy Torah Scrolls.

… which is why so many were found in Kumron!

These people were he zealots – and they knew the instructions!

They were in Kumron waiting for the Melchizedek to redeem them and they understood the Melchizedek!
-        It was YHUH who sat at the right hand of YHUH!

Later, King Josiah removed all traces of anything non-Levitical from the Temple.

The Tzadokites in Kumron at the time of Yahusha belived: the Malki-Tzedek – the anointed one connected to Messiah was expecting to come to deliver a divine communication and then He’d have to die/be cut off – as it is written in Daniel 9:26.

Then there is the Copper Scroll found in 1952 – in Cave 3 in Kumron.

John Allegro – oversaw the cutting of this into 23 strips from 1955- 1956… and he translated them!

He discovered the Tzadokites were the very matrix of Christianity.

He suggested – there were so many correspondences between scroll texts and the Brit Chadasha and words, values, phrases, beliefs and practices… even a messianic leadership – a teacher of Righteousness who’d be persecuted , possibly crucified and then resurrected!

Allegro discovered this –
Imagine what Israel would do with this!
Well, they did it – it was squashed (destroyed?)
Because – this copper scroll was a game changer!

This group in Kumron that served YHUH were the tzadokites…

They were thrown out of the temple at the time of the Hazmonian dynasty and their texts bare up that they believed YHUH sat on the right hand of YHUH.

They believed that he was the Melchizedek  - the righteous preacher, who would come  in a line of successors that would have to come, die, possibly through crucifixion, and then deliver a message of righteousness and then bring in a priesthood!

This is why they were always having ritual immersion.   – in preparation for war about to happen.

They would from time to time go up to Jerusalem as Zealots, go up to Jerusalem in the raids of Zealotry among Romans and many of them were in the Flock of Yahusha….

Yochanan (John) the Immerser (Baptist)  - Because in Yahusha’s missing yeas – He was down in Kumron being taught.

Yochanan was in charge of the mikvah pools down in Kumron and he used the Jordan as well.

Mattityahu 1-2 establishes that Yahusha is a King.

But we need to understand that

The mantle of priesthood is always handed down through ritual immersion/ mikvah/baptism.

Plus we need to know that the Jordan River is a geographic point of change.

What does it say in Mattityahu 3:13 – “to fulfill all righteousness.”
Malchizedek gets passed on through mikvah/baptism.

Uayiqra (Lev) 5:1 p 83 – The trespass oath

Mattityahu 26:63 p 703

He had to say…
And when he did Kaiphus tore his robes… and disqualified himself from the priest hood and he would have to die.

Yochanan 19:23 p 774

Who was the only priest left to officiate over the Pesach offering??

Yahusha!
Luke 7:28 p 733  Is about the transference of priesthood
“For I say to you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater navi than Yochanan ha Matbeel:  but he that is lease in the malchut of YHUH is greater than him.

The least of the Melchizedek are greater than the prophet from Levi!

Picture:
Narrow road in the middle
Those who are into Rabbinical law – Book of Law that passed away on one side
And those who choose to be pagan and lawless.

The word says Avraham was perfect in YHUH’s site and yet he knew nothing of Leviticus sacrificial law!

Yakob the Tzadok (James the righteous one)  - wrote about returning to “LAW” meaning the book of Covenant..

Salvation comes through those with a brit malah heart (circumcised heart) and circumstances of heart … my blood covered  with YHUH’s blood

Praise be YHUH….
Where will we walk?  The narrow road between the Rabbinical law and the ditch of pagan lawlessness…

The Righteous King – Melchizedek leads us!

Melchizedek 3 - Torah Vayera - what really happened to Yitz'chak? 8 Nov 2014

Torah parashah Vayera - He Appeared
B’re’shiyt 18:1-22:24

*
Once again we are not going to do the B’re’shiyt word study by Brad Scott... we will get back to that though!

*

Shabbat shalom!
How’s your week been??
Mine was difficult....  i am guessing most of yours was as well.
I know it was a full moon week.

You know i often take note and say something like - “there was a shift” or “something changed”...
Well this week, it seems to me that the dark got darker.

I did a short search of the scriptures for “darkness” -
“Darkness” is in the scriptures a lot.

Tesloniqyah alef /I Thessalonians 5:5
“You are all the children of Light, and the children of the Yom;  we are not of the night, or of the darkness.”

I just want to share this observation - that everything was so hard.... and in my words... “the dark got darker”....
because... what i am learning is....

“Things being hard” - is a neon sign that i used to miss...  that shouts loudly....
“This is the time to worship!  This is the time make tefillah /pray!  This is the time to seek the face of YHWH!!!”

I have forever seen injustice in the world....  but now i am learning to see it and then look at YHWH....and not let the injustice, and even the righteous anger consume me....

*
I went to a very interesting building this week to get finger prints in order to be approved for coaching...

it was very strange...
I walked into a large / hollow lobby with marble tile floors and walls.
The receptionist sat behind a huge desk... probably 10 meters or more wide... and the front was so high i didn’t see her at first!

There i was getting my finger prints done... and someone else came in who had to go talk with someone...  she had to push a button to unlock the hall way!!!

There i was thinking ..
What were they expecting that this place is so locked up?
Why is it like this?

and ....
remember the “left behind” series that we used to read??... we know that they have the tribulation and who is taken all wrong...  but my point is... in that story - the people who decided to become “christians” after the believers were taken...they were living in a very hostile world... operating below the surface....  doing what they needed... but we very cautious about what they said to whom etc....

and it hit me.... we are living in a world like that now and we are the ones who are different!

Praise YHWH!!!

Why would i bring all of this up??
Because we have to be transformed by the renewing of our minds!!

Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this olam hazeh (present world): but be transformed by the ongoing renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is that tov, acceptable, and even the perfect, will of YHWH.”

amein...

And this last verse....
Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this olam hazeh (present world): but be transformed by the ongoing renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is that tov, acceptable, and even the perfect, will of YHWH.”

Is exactly where we are going today.....

in this pursuit to understand the Melchizedek priesthood....

I am going to share from a teaching that Matthew Nolan did at Sukkot.

I present this to you... b/c i believe it is the truth... it only makes sense....

but let me tell you ....  up front....  don’t stay and listen if you don’t truly want to be transformed by the renewing of your mind...
Because this teaching does not fit in with what those of us who grew up in the church were taught.

I have been studying this teaching and pondering it and asking YHWH about it and i feel i am to bring it to you...

...not because I have all of the answers... to what i know will be your many questions...

but because i do not

and because as I study the little Hebrew i understand... it finally makes sense -

- not only of what it says in Hebrew... but what we know about the Scriptures being “monked with” / changed....

and because it is how the Torah works....  YHWH shows us something that is a type and shadow  - a prophecy ... and then HE does it...

And because with this part of the Scriptures understood as i am going to tell you - it finally makes sense of things ...

Remember i am not telling you i have all of the answers...
and maybe this is not all correct... but this is what i am coming to understand - based on Torah.

wow...

Here we go...  buckle up.

**
The Torah parashah for today is

Vayera - He Appeared
B’re’shiyt 18:1-22:24

The part that i want to focus on today is

B’re’shiyt /Genesis  22

~~
But before we start that i want to point out one thing that is not related...

In B’re’shiyt 18... YHWH / 3 men have come to Avraham... and he has Sarah make a meal...

B’re’shiyt 18:8
“And he took butter, and milk, and the calf that he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the eytz, and they did eat.”

We know the Jewish teaching is that this was a long meal.. and the dairy was not served with the meat...
... but that is not what it says...
(I will be the first to remind you that what it says in English  - or even the masoretic text - is sometimes not correct.)

~~
I want to read what is known in Jewish circles as
Avraham’s Akediah

Read
B’re’shiyt 22

~~
First let’s consider some geography/topography...

According to Chuck Missler...

Mt Moriah is a ridge line between the Mt of Olives and Mt Zion.

It is bordered by:
 the Kidron Valley on the east,
the Hinom Valley on the south,
and the Tyropean Valley on the west.

If we approach the Mount as Avraham did, from Beersheva to the south,

we begin at about 600 meters above sea level, and climb to its peak,

which is about 777 meters above seal level.

Many years later, David would purchase the threshing floor of Arunah where Solomon would eventually build the Temple.

(A threshing floor was located where a prevailing wind would facilitate the separation of the grain from the chaff.)

In this case, it was at about 741 meters above seal level, just below the peak.

The peak of the Mount is at a place just outside the city wall (of Jerusalem) to the north.

According to Chuck Missler....
It’s a place you can still visit today, just above an Arab bus station outside the Damascus Gate.

It is known as GOLGOTHA   !!!

Are you getting this?...
  • ....That the place where Avraham took his son to offer him as a sacrifice....

  • ....is the same place where YHWH offered His Bienah ... His plan for restoration. !!!

**
Now with this in mind....
let’s go to Matthew Nolan’s ...

The first thing i am going to say is that we have been learning that the church has it’s bibles based on the Masoretic text of the Tanakh.
When we know that the Septuagint was translated years before Y’shua was even born... directly from the text of the Tanakh that Y’shua used!!

The Masoretic text was written between the 7th and 10 centuries CE!!

and we know that the Masoretic text was “monked” with!

Meaning that it has been proven that at least 134 times, the Masoretic text changed references to the Messiah Y’shua !!

Yirmeyahu /Jeremiah 16:19
“O YHWH, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the Yom of Tribulation, the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our ahvot (fathers) have inherited only lies, only vanity, and things in which there is no profit.”
(The foot note  of this verse in the RSTNE Scripture says...”in non- Hebraic lifestyles.”)

-Ok...all that said and from teachings before....
... we know that the Scriptures need to be studied very closely and taken back to as much of original as possible.

*
Another thing we know is that our Messiah Y’shua has risen from the dead!  :)

But many many persons do not believe in the resurrection.

We also know that traditional Judaism does not believe in the resurrection.

I am going to suggest to you that the translators of the Masoretic text / Judaism has hidden the revealed resurrection in the Book of the Covenant of Promise.

Matthew Nolan said...
“Judaism insists that there is NO precedence of human sacrifice ... and that YHWH never thought of vicarious / substitutional atonement.”

So... we are at an important point that i must say...

I have always said...
The christian end of the spectrum is messed up
and the Jewish end of the spectrum is messed up...

We knew to move away from the teachings of christianity
(Notice i did not say teachings of the Word!)

But we didn’t know how the Jewish end is messed up other than them not believing in Messiah Y’shua.

But that is the point we must start with...

Judaism doesn’t believe what we believe...!!

They don’t believe in Messiah

and how crazy is it that christianity uses Masoretic texts...  translated by Jews who don’t believe in Messiah!!

We should be using the Septuagint - because it is much more ancient and true!

(Suggest - Brenton’s Septuagint with Apocrypha)

~
How do ancient Jews explain the absence of Yitz’chak?

We are going to come back to that question...

but first let’s go to...

Ivrim / Hebrews 11:17-19

Let’s start with Complete Jewish Bible - a RABBINIC text...

“By trusting, Avraham, when he was put to the text, offered up Yitz’chak as a sacrifice.  Yes, he offered up his only son, he who had received the promises, 18 to whom it had been said, ‘What is called your ‘seed’ will be in Yitz’chak.” 19 For he had concluded that God could even raise people from the dead! And, figuratively speaking, he did so receive him.”

Okay...now let’s look at

Ivrim 11:17-19 in the RSTNE
“17 By emunah (faith or trust) Avraham, when he was tried, offered up Yitz’chak: and he that had received the promises offered up his only brought-forth son.
18 Of whom it was said, That in Yitz’chak shall your zera (seed) be called:
19 Accounting that YHWH was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from where also he received him in a figure.”

-The foot note of the end of vs 19 “received him in a figure” says...

“As a figure, or type of the coming Messiah who would die as opposed to Isaac”

  • Let’s read this based on what it says... not what we were taught it means...

vs 17...  “offered up Yitz’chak: and he that had received the promises offered up his only brought-forth son.”

hmmm

~~~
Let’s go to the end of the story a moment...
B’re’shiyt 22: 19
“So Avraham returned to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-Sheva; and Avraham dwelt at Beer-Sheva.”
Where is Yitz’chak here?
In fact he isn’t even talked about at his mother’s death/funeral etc.
Is it POSSIBLE...
ponder on this for a bit...
Is it POSSIBLE that Yitz’chak didn’t return with Avraham
 because he died.... ???
yes that is what i said...
Is it possible that...
...Yitz/chak didn’t return with Avraham
... because he died...
 - as prophecy of Y’shua’s death on the same hill?
Yitz’chak isn’t mentioned from the time Avraham comes down from the Mt... until  - B’re’shiyt 24:62...
and interestingly enough He is at the well of Lachai-Roei - “The Well of Living Water” or “the Well of the Living One”.
Read
B’re’shiyt 24:62- 64
Do you see that place there in verse 64?....
the RSTNE says
“and when she saw him she was lifted from off the camel”
The Complete Jewish says...
“she quickly dismounted”
But the Hebrew Interlinear says...
“she is falling from the camel”.  !!!
hmmm...  maybe I’d fall off too if i believed someone dead...  was walking toward me....
~
But this is just the beginning...
~
Now let’s go back to our earlier question...
How do ancient Hebrews /Jews explain Yitz’chak’s absence???
One Jewish sage wrote  that Yitz’chak stayed in Gan Eden / Paradise for three years before he shows up again in the Scriptures.
Another midrash on B’re’shiyt 24:36 depicts Yitz’chak as descending from heaven to claim his bride.
(What picture does this remind you of??!!!!)
Now i will be the first to tell you - these are just some guy’s opinions.
and Yes that is true...
...but isn’t it interesting to see that Jewish scholars from about 285 CE explain this this way!??
hmmm
~~~~~
Now let’s go to the key verse...

B’re’shiyt 22:16
“And said, ‘By Myself have I sworn, says YHWH, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son.”

Well, Janet, how is this verse the KEY verse ??

Here we have to go back to Hebrew... (of course! :) )

= The English “you have done”

In ... “because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son.”

In Hebrew “you have done” is  “ASAH”

ASAH is an ayin, a shin, and a hey.

This word means  =
to make or create...
 it is A DEED FULLY DONE  and is in past tense.  !!!

With that understanding...
What B’re’shiyt 22:16 - better translated would say something close to....

“because you did this completely - giving your only son”

hmm

*****

Now let’s go back to something else...

B’re’shiyt 22:12
“And He said, Lay not your hand upon the lad, neither do anything to him; for now i know that you fear Elohim, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son from me.”

...Now i will be the first to say right here... “oh come on...  it SAYS right here... ‘lay not your hand upon the lad... neither do anything to him’.”

--“neither do anything” / “neither do thou” in English is ASAH = a completed work in past tense. (Strong’s 6213)

--“upon” in English is = “el” in Hebrew
and it is = aleph and a lamed
This word means...
to, toward, concerning, according, at, against, limit is actually entered, and in addition to.

--The first “son” in this verse
as in “not withheld your son”
in Hebrew it is “ben” - and ben can be translated as...
= “Son, male child, grandson, children, youth, young men, people, a member
and ...
“of lifeless things”

B’re’shiyt 22:13
“And Avraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and saw behind him a ram caught in a thicket by its horns; and Avraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.”

I always understood this meant - So Avraham untied the very much alive Yitz’chak and helped him off the altar...
and killed the ram INSTEAD OF and burned the ram.

So what is the big deal here??

Now this really starts to get in over my head... so i am going to tell you what Matthew Nolan taught here...

and i am going to assume... that i just don’t know enough Word yet to get it...  ... so let’s hear this teaching... as a potential correct teaching but we don’t understand it for sure yet...  but pray and study!!!

so...

Back to
B’re’shiyt 22:12
“And He said, Lay not your hand upon the lad, neither do anything to him; for now i know that you fear Elohim, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son from me.”

“What if the angel of YHWH is stopping a BURNT OFFERING??!!”

“There would be a slaying and ...
then there would be a burning.... and the burning is until it is totally consumed”

Ivrim /Hebrew 11 said...

So all this said...
we might say.../ believe....

Avraham offered up his son...and the Melach stopped the BURNING.

~
Matthew Nolan also said... that

Y’shua was hung on a tree... the same tree as the two other guys...

and there you have it - a Menorah...  the tree trunk as the center and six arms raised...  = 7 branches.

Matthew Nolan said... they went around the tree and broke the legs of the two guys but when they got around to Y’shua - He was already dead....

and then - the Jewish people wanted to burn Y’shua’s body.

I have no idea how he knows this....  but again - I trust this teacher...so i am sharing this not as a DONE or PROVEN deal....

but it is time we start seeing the Word and what it says.. for what makes sense... etc!!

Joseph of Arimathea   took the body of Y’shua down before it was burned.

(I realize that the scripture says - buried not burned ...  so we have to study this part!)

***

Okay let’s back up and look at this...

WE know that YHWH always tells us before he does it.... so there is always a prophecy...

If we look at what i have just taught.... and we CONSIDER this...

We have Yitz’chak being taken...  carrying the wood ...

him being sacrificed - killed

dead...

and then he resurrects  in order to marry his bride!!!!

~
Another thing that occurs to me...

we have been taught that “Avraham had the FAITH/TRUST that YHWH COULD raise Yitz’chak from the dead”...

Well...

Do we have the FAITH/ TRUST to believe that YHWH actually did???

Why would we take the word /s of a group of people who do NOT believe in resurrection
who do not believe in Messiah Y’shua??  !!!

What if it happened this way??

What if Avraham - was a way  more amazing man of TRUST than we ever ever considered...

and what if YHWH was more amazing that we can begin to fathom??

I do not understand the burning piece... but B’re’shiyt 22 does say that the RAM was “offered up for a burnt offering instead of his son.”

and you can say...
“well, YHWH would have never done human sacrifice... he hates it... that is what the pagans do to Molech.”

Yep, that  is what the pagans do to Molech...

BUT I know that YHWH always tells us/ shows us before HE does something...

and here we have a man slain and resurrected to marry his bride...

and i don’t believe in coincidence.

He is not talked about... after the akediah ....  until he comes to marry his bride.

Imagine if this is true... the TRUST Avraham had - to send Eliazer out to get the bride.

BUT... we learned in B’re’shiyt 15 that Avraham was NOT alseep - he was in a trance and while in the trance...
Avraham saw the things to come - the B’rit Chadashah tells us so!!

Ivrim /Hebrews 11: 19
“Accounting that YHWH was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from where also he received him in a figure.”

foot note...
“As a figure, or type of the coming Messiah who would die as opposed to Isaac.”

Now i want to return to a couple of things
at the beginning of this teaching...

  1. I suggested you fasten your seat belts....

i hope you are still in the seat.  :)

and i hope this inspires you to study - and either prove me wrong - based on original Torah... or prove me right.

because right now as i understand... there is a whole lot more truth to what i taught today than what i was taught it meant.

and

  1. Darkness is increasing....
but oh my goodness!!...  Baruch YHWH!!!....

i am just learning that the Elohiym i serve - is way way way more trustworthy than i had any idea!!!

and HIS LIGHT is getting brighter.

Yes the Torah says that in the end after the tribulation  - the sun will no longer shine....

but it also says that the light in the New Heaven - is YHWH himself.

THAT is the light I want!...

and i believe when HE gives me pieces of understanding of His Word....  i get a little more of His light...

that’s what I’m running after

and i hate roller coasters but i will climb in and fasten the seat belt if it means i understand more of HIS emet...

because then i understand more of
Who YHWH is
and who He says that I am...
so then i know how to live
and i can live - as He has called me to live...

... no matter what.

buckle up and go study!!

amein!!
