**
Review last week’s teaching:

We talked about the Name YHUH - Yahuah, based on Lew White’s work.

Shemoth (Exodus) 20: 7  p 63
“You shall not bring the Name of YHUH to vain emptiness; for YHUH will not hold him guiltless that brings His Name to vain emptiness.”

Lew wrote
“In the days of YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) there was a strong tendency to exchange the true Name Yahuah with a substitution in order to mix worship by calling on the Kananite storm deity Baal (Hebrew= LORD).  We are not one (united) because we failed to hold to the one Name given under heaven by which we must be delivered (Acts 4:12)”

“Yahuah had to act.  He removed His Name from their lips, and tore it from their hearts by the roots.  He could not bear the mixed worship any longer.”

YirmeYahu 44:25-28 p 385
“26...See, I have sworn by My great Name, says YHUH, that My Name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Yahudah in all the land of Mitzrayim, saying the Master YHUH lives.”

We talked about why they stopped using the Name...
and that Stephen was stoned because he used the Name
and they killed Yahusha HaMashiak not just because He claimed to be YHUH but because He used the name YHUH.

Yochanan 17:26 p 773
“And I have declared to them Your Name, and will yet declare it: so that the ahava with which You have loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

~
And according to Lew White....

“The vowels are not silent, but operate just as our modern vowels do. Some of them are “double letters” in the sense that the vowel could be used as a consonant in certain words.”

Lew also says...

“When the Masoretes began to corrupt the vowels of the Hebrew alphabet (which are written, not imagined), they were about 2,200 years removed from the time of Mosheh. They worked diligently for 500 years to make the phonology of Hebrew words uniform. By the 12th century they had accomplished their work, and no one using their system of vowels could possibly pronounce the Name using the Hebrew letters and their vowels points (niqqud).”

          “YAHU had become YEHO,
ALAH had become ELAH, and so on.”

“SHALUM is more likely the correct phonology (of shalom).

We get our vowels from Hebrew ALEF, AYIN, YOD, HAY, and UAU produce the vowels in Greek and Latin, giving us the AEIOU we use today.

As we have long and short forms, the AYIN can sound like a short “A” as in YAHUSHA, or a long “E” as in ESAU.

This week I want to look at the Name  ~ Yahusha HaMoshiach

Lew White wrote:

The teachings of men blocked the identity of our Creator by substituting His Name with titles like LORD.
The Hindu’s have all sorts of deities they refer to by the title of LORD: Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, etc.,. George Harrison, a member of The Beatles, wrote a song to his Lord Krishna entitled “My Sweet Lord.”
Read the preface of any NIV, and you'll see the translators admit removing the Name and inserting the device LORD.
LORD is the definition of the Hebrew word BAAL.

The Alexandrian “fathers” of the Didascalia (I call them circus fathers) were mystagogues who initiated pupils into the mysteries of the faith.
Lew goes on to say...
As I was taught by Jesuits, they often used the phrase, “mysteries of the faith.”
Catholicism inherited an enormous amount of Hinduism in their traditions.
Syncretism is the practice of adopting and mixing dissimilar religious traditions together.
Mystagogues withheld the Name until an initiate progressed to higher grades, and often a pupil would be told that one deity was the equivalent of another.
Hadrian wrote that the Greek deity Serapis was the same as IESV, the name that eventually became Jesus.
Serapis was the Greek’s name for the Egyptian deity Osiris.
Mixing diverse religious traditions was the pattern, since every Sun deity on Earth stemmed from the first man to be worshipped as a mighty-one: Nimrod.
All Sun deities were only babbled forms of his name.
Yahuah is not for mixing, nor confusion.

In the east, the Name Yahusha was concealed as the cryptogram IC-XC.
In the west, the Name Yahusha was encoded as IES, IHS, and Latinized to IESV by Jerome.
The IESV code/theonym in the Latin Vulgate evolved into the JESU/JESUS term taken into the KJV and later translations.

The authentic Name of our Redeemer is YAHUSHA,
-the first part of which contains the YAHU component (I was/I am/I will be) as expressed in names such as NathanYahu, ObadYah, NekemYah, YashaYahu, YirmeYahu, etc.
YAHUAH became flesh, taking the Name YAHUSHA, since the ending SHA conveys the meaning of deliverance - from the root YASHA, meaning to deliver.

As our Healer, Yahuah is called YAHUAH RAFA;
as our Banner He is YAHUAH NISSI, and so on with all His roles.
The teaching authorities over us have taught us Yahuah is a committee of three "persons" in one "GOD" - but Yahuah is only one, and we call on Him as our Deliverer, Yahusha.
To believe in “one god in three persons” is the Catholic faith (See Athanasian Creed).
Greek, Latin, or Korean languages don't alter His identity or His Name.

So...
WHAT’S THE REAL NAME OF THE MASHIAK?
The invented name JESUS was first seen in print in the second-printing of the King James Version.
The KJV is a Catholic translation, as the king was baptized as an infant in an Anglican Catholic ceremony.
They considered Tyndale’s translation a Protestant version, as well as the Geneva translation.
They banned all unauthorized versions from the realm, and only allowed the printed “Authorized Version.”
The original 1611 version used the Latin Vulgate’s IESV, a christogram with a line under it meaning it represented a name, but was not the name.
It had to be interpreted by a mystagogue to be understood.
Christograms used in other manuscripts were IC-XC, IES, IHS, IESOUS, and IXTHUS.
One is the Truth; the other is tradition, so we have to choose.
So....

Is the Name of the Mashiak JESUS or YAHUSHA?
“YAHUSHA” means “Yah is our deliverer” from Hebrew.
But this is only partially translated; the “YAH” is yet to be revealed to us.
Because YAH can mean “I am,” we now realize that Yahusha is a revelation: “I am your Deliverer.”
The “I am your” comes from YAHU, and the “Deliverer” comes from SHA, the suffix modifier.
The root YASHA is found in the SHA and SHUA suffixes, and means help, rescue, save, deliverance, or salvation.
This suffix is found in the name Alisha. The root is used in the name of the prophet YashaYahu (aka Isaiah).
~
The Talmud refers to Yahusha as YESHU, an acronym they understand to represent the words yemach shmo U’Zikro, = “may His Name be blotted-out.” !

Because Yahusha is based on the Name Yahuah, it was avoided by copyists.
The Septuagint used the form IESOU in Greek. To reverse-transliterate JESUS, the closest Hebrew name is ESU, the name of the man known as ESAU. IESOU became IESU in Latin, and for 1200 years was believed to be their xpistos (Christos).
The Latin Vulgate (and first KJV) wrote the letters IESV in place of the Name Yahusha.
Greek has no sound for SH, so it’s impossible for Greek to properly transliterate the Name Yahusha.

IEZUS makes the sound for “hail Zeus” in Greek.

To say HAY-SOOS in Hebrew would mean “the horse.”
Since there was no letter J on planet Earth until around 1530 CE, the name Jesus is therefore a hoax (a stand-in, imposter, or interloper).
To say “we speak English” isn’t a defense of anything, since the “only Name” given in which there is deliverance is a Hebrew Name, not an English one (Acts 4:12).
Jesus isn’t an English word, it’s a construction based on a theonym. {A theonym is proper name of a Greek diety.}
IESV is the Latinized form of the Greek IESOUS which developed into Jesus.
Yahuah does not change, so the Name of our Mashiak would not undergo alterations over time.
It was tampered with by an enemy.
A spirit of anti-messiah will defend the name Jesus.
Anti-messiah will not come in the Name Yahusha.
Here’s why: “I am Yahuah, that is My Name, and My
esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.”
                    YashaYahu 42:8

Scholars know how to determine the real Name of the Mashiak of Yisharal, but they hesitate because tradition would be challenged.
The evidence reveals that the person known as “Joshua” in the Scriptures has exactly the same Hebrew name as the Mashiak, because both the Mashiak and the successor of Mosheh are identical in Greek, IESOUS.
The Name of the Mashiak is not Greek; it’s Hebrew.
The Name has a meaning in Hebrew; yet JESUS (or JEZUS if in Jugoslavia) is promoted by the Society of IESV (Jesuits) to be valid based solely upon Greek, not Hebrew.
This study should set the record straight, because we are looking to the Hebrew to determine the true Name. The intermediate languages have only mutilated the original for us, and are not legitimate sources to build a case.
Casuitry is a Jesuit tactic employed to sway opinions, or to build a “case” that is intentionally meant to mislead.
~
YAHUSHA – FOUND 216 TIMES IN THE TANAK
THE MASHIAK'S NAME IS FOUND 219 TIMES IN THE TANAK in 3 spelling variations.

In 216 of these we see:
YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN =  YAHUSHA.
The son of Nun (a leader of the tribe Afraim, aka Ephraim) started out with a four-lettered name, then Mosheh changed it by adding one letter (YOD) to the beginning of his name:
Husha =
#1954: HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN (HUSHA), rendered in the KJV as HOSHEA (Dt. 32:44), and OSHEA (Num 13:16).

Y+HUSHA =
#3091: YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN YAHUSHA = Y+HUSHA This is found 216 times, rendered in the KJV as JOSHUA.

In another two instances in all of Scripture it is spelled YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-UAU-AYIN, or “YAHUSHUA”.
In one place it is spelled YOD-SHIN-UAU-AYIN - NekemYah 8:17

CASUISTRY: Specious or excessively subtle reasoning intended to rationalize or mislead.

Next we’ll investigate the Hebrew spelling found in Scripture.

See handout:

Many transliterations of Mashiak's Name are used, among the most popular of them are YAHSHUA, Y'SHUA, YESHUA, YEHOSHUA, YAHUSHUA, and YAHUSHA.

His Name is identical to the Hebrew spelling of the man called JOSHUA, whose name was originally spelled as above, but without the letter YOD at the beginning. Mosheh added the YOD to his name, which was originally HUSHA (hay-uau-shin-ayin). Acts 7 and Hebrews 4 the same Greek letters are found: IESOUS - a change, not a justification. The letter W (double-U) did not exist on Earth until the 13th century, so it is impossible for it to be used honestly in the Name
YAHUAH: YOD-HAY-UAU-HAY (no letter W). In the Name YAHUSHUA -- SHUA, or SHA comes from the ROOT yaSHA meaning to deliver. SHUA and SHA mean the same thing, to deliver.
YAHUSHA: YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN

(YAHUSHUA would be spelled YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-UAU- A YIN).

“YAHUSHA” and “YAHUSHUA” – both can mean
“YAH is our Deliverer”.
Alternately, “I AM – your – Deliverer” YESHUA: YOD-SHIN-UAU-AYIN (once at NekemYah 8:17)
There is a man named Shua at 1 Chr 2:3 - #7770, spelled SHIN-UAU-A YIN.
Another word is Malkiyshua (mal-kee- shu-ah), found at 1 Sam. 31:2 - #4444, with the ending SHIN-UAU-A YIN.
In 216 places out of 218, there is no letter UAU used between the SHIN-AYIN in the name for the successor of Mosheh,...
... but there is a UAU following the letter HAY, so YAHUSHA is the preferred way of rendering the Name in English.

“Yahushua” is seen twice out of 219 times in the TaNaK.
Yahushua and Yahusha are acceptable transliterations.
BUT one is used twice and one is used 216 times.

At NekemYah 8:17, the hypocorisma (short form) Yeshua is used.
This spelling is the only time we find this in Scripture.
          HYPOCORISMA: a diminuative form for a name;
Mel; short for Melvin or Melinda; Mick or Mike for Michael, Joe for Joseph (originally Yusef).

YahuSHUA and YahuSHA – the endings SHUA and SHA both contain the root, yaSHA, meaning deliverance.

Both spellings, Yahushua and Yahusha, are found in the inspired texts.
The two uses of this 6-lettered spelling (YAHUSHUA) are found at Deut. 3:21 and Judg. 2:7. Both variations in spelling are found in these books.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
           In these two books, the name was written with only one “UAU” in the following ratios:
Deuteronomy / Debarim: 7 to 1
          Seven times we find YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN (Yahusha). Once it is YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-UAU-AYIN (Yahushua).
Judges: 5 to 1
Five times we find YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN (Yahusha). Once it is YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-UAU-AYIN (Yahushua). Overall ratio: 216 to 2
216 times: YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN (Yahusha).
2 times: YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-UAU-AYIN (Yahushua).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Both are seen used in Scripture, so either is acceptable.
It’s a mistake to believe the vowel-pointing (niqqud) of the Masoretes (Karaite traditionalists) is without flaw.
They worked from the 7th to the 11th centuries on vowel-points to establish a uniform pronunciation, permanently fixing (steering, directing) the utterance of certain vowels.
This was to assure the Name, Yahuah, would never be pronounced precisely.
They were about 2300 years removed in time from Mosheh, so their vowel-pointing work had to involve guesswork. We can’t be sure how Shakespearean-era English actually sounded (400 years ago).
Lew goes on to say....
This information is bound to be painful to those who have never been told the Truth. The Greek or Latin forms have no bearing on the authenticity of Yahusha’s original, true Hebrew Name. Evidence must be based on Hebrew, not Greek, Swahili, or Latin.  :)
One cannot explain Chinese with Spanish, so we should not use Greek and Latin to explain Hebrew. Even though the Septuagint uses the Greek letters IESOUS, we have to realize their reason for IESOU rather than IAHUSA was to keep the Name YAH from being pronounced.”
“And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be delivered.” Acts 4:12 - BYNV

The 3rd Commandment - not to stop using the Name - is very important....

Luke 15:8-9 p 743
“Or, what woman having ten pieces of sliver, if she loses one piece does not light a candle, and sweep the bayit, and seek diligently until she finds it?  9 And when she has found it, she calls her chaverim (friends or companions) and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me: for I have found the piece that i had lost.”

Finding the NAME is like finding the lost coin... !!!!

~
We’ve found His Name
          YHUH = Yahuah

and

Our Messiah’s name:
          YAHUSHA: YOD-HAY-UAU-SHIN-AYIN

What a privilege to learn these!!!

****

Last week I so much enjoyed what you all wrote.  I not only got to see some beautiful art - there was one comment that after I read it - I realized I was crying....

“I am 53 years old and I finally know His Name!!!”

And then it hit me - that not only have I not even known His Name - but most people aren’t blessed enough to know His Name - YET.

Guardian Angel - What the Word Really Says About Women Part 2 - April 25

“Guardian Angel” - Part 2

25 April 2015  ~  6 L=Iyyar 5775

Torah Parashah - Tazria/Metzora Vayiqra (Leviticus) 12:1-15:33

More on “woman” from Skip Moen’s “Guardian Angel”

What The Word Really Says About Women - Harbour Light Ministries

Review from last time - on handout...
B’re’shiyt 1:26-27
“And Elohiym said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
27 So the Word of Elohiym created ma in His own image, in the image of Elohiym He created him; male and female He created them.”

Tselem - “image” - is a masculine noun
transferred authority and order over what destroys.
To be created in YHWH’s image is to reflect divine action.

Demut - “likeness” - is a feminine noun.
“Being human is ACTING according to YHWH’s path to life.
 It means standing against chaos.
.. It also means knowing what is permitted and what is not and acting accordingly.

To be human is to ACT LIKE YHWH ACTS... to reflect His choices... It is not to BE YHWH... but to reflect Him.

“Male” in Hebrew = zakar.
“to be sharp pointed”
“To remember who YHWH is and what He said and to act accordingly”
Man =“Ish” = to show oneself to be strong and to fix in mind (remember)

Female in Hebrew = neqevah.
“to pierce”
“To single out” and “appoint as a leader”
“A prepared setting for precious stones” = “boundary setter”
Ishshah = woman

**  **  **  **  **  **  **
Today - we are going to start with...

Moen writes:

The Bible wasn’t written with verses and chapters and numbers!

Seriously - this is news to people!

They were actually added thousands of years later!

So what happens is ... “Their addition often breaks our thinking about the text so we don’t see the continuation  of one thought into another.

Once these artificial stops are removed, the context of our interpretation often changes.

Such is the case with the introduction of the creation of Woman.

We think that the story of Adam and Chava begins with YHWH’s announcement that Adam needs a helper!”

“In the Hebrew text we find deliberate interconnections from one passage to another, reminding us that all the parts of the story are TIED TOGETHER.”

“So if we want to understand why YHWH created woman....
we have to start with the prologue of the story.”

Think about how you thought this story began.....
I am pretty sure - what I am going to teach is not what you’ve understood before... because it isn’t what I thought either...

*
B’re’shiyt 2:5
“And every plant of the field before it  grew: for YHWH Elohiym had  not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.”

“This story doesn’t start with Adam being alone.

It doesn’t even start with Adam being in the Garden... or with the creation of Adam.

It begins before YHWH sent the rain.”

Moen goes on to say....

“In the prologue, the Tanakh connects Adam and Ha’adamah with a verb that sets the stage for all that follows.”

That verb is avad.

In our Bibles it is translated as “till” the ground.

But AVAD does NOT mean “to cultivate”!!

“to cultivate” is suggested by the context... but AVAD doesn’t mean “to cultivate”

AVAD means = “to work” or “to serve”

Moen says.. “Of course we think of working the earth as cultivating, but this translation leaves out the important Hebrew connection to --          SERVING the earth.”  !!

~
There are 2 reasons why the earth is not fruitful yet:

1.     YHWH has not sent rain yet
2.      There is no adam to serve it

“The first obligation of Man is to minister to YHWH’s creation on YHWH’s behalf”

“In other words - the fulfillment of the purpose of the earth depends on the fulfillment of the divine call to Man.”

~
Moen says - “There is another connection here that is obscured in the translation.”

“In the Hebrew text, there are two distinct words for “earth”... and
Making these distinctions clear - alters the meaning of the text.”  !!

-    “For YHWH has not sent rain upon the earth (‘erets) and there was not an adam to serve (avad) the ground (adamah).”

“Now we see that that the Man (adam) serves his own source of being, the dust from which he came (adamah).

In other words in some sense serving the earth nourishes us.”

Moen says - and I paraphrase...

When we serve the earth... take care of it...  we actually “replenish ourselves.”

Using the Hebrew word AVAD here shows us that ‘the work and service is an act of worship.”

“From the very beginning, YHWH fused work, service and worship as an act of self-nourishment.”

“When we are doing what YHWH designed us to do, we minister to our own source of being and at the same time act as His agents to bring about His fruitful purpose.”

(Think about that - not just based on gardening!)

“Before the fall, YHWH had designed an interconnection between our spiritual self and physical nourishment.”

Moen says:
“The assignment to bless the earth in work, service and worship is a critical element in understanding the role of Chava.”

This reminds me of Chariots of Fire....
Eric Liddell’s sister asks him... “Eric, why do you run?”
and Eric responds with...
“God made me fast and when I run fast, I feel His pleasure!”

We know this place when we get in the “flow”.... we call it in athletics...
but maybe you know it... when you come up to something and you realize as you do it... “I was born for this!”

~~
Oh but wait... there is more to the prologue of Adam and Chavah...

EDEN = a very unusual word...

Most nouns in Hebrew have gender...

But EDEN is both masculine and feminine.

EDEN actually connects - “delight and fecundity.”

Fecundity = abundant production / fruitful

Moen says....

“Eden is about to give birth to wonder and awe...”

“It was designed that way - this same “hidden” potential is found in man.   We were designed to give birth to His glory.”

We also need to notice here....  that we don’t determine what will be pleasure in life....

“YHWH tells man what pleasure is and what it is not.”

Moen asks:
“What happens when we decide to define pleasure in our own terms?

=We usurp the prerogative of YHWH’s role.

We act as though we are the source of life.

We determine what is GOOD!!!”

(And clearly then, we are in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and not the tree of chayim!)

**
Moen says about Eden:

“What YHWH had provided inside his walled preserve is life - delightful, abundant, pregnant life.

He has invited us to consume; to use the strength to control what is allowed under his Seal and sign.

What is pleasant from a biblical perspective?

== “Opening the door that leads to life. “

“It is to be in Abba YHWH’s will!!”

“It is to know His blessings and His goodness!”

No wonder the world is starving...  they don’t even know He gave us instructions that are still to be followed!!

So from this we should see that YHWH “establishes the meaning of pleasure and ties it to work and to worship.”

“Man’s responsibility is not only to serve the ground from which He came, He is also to worship the Elohiym of creation.”

“To do that he must be obedient.”

“This element derived from the image and likeness of YHWH is summarized in a single command, a command that is given just before the rest of the story about Chavah.”

~~
Then right before YHWH’s statement about the need for a “helper” in B’re’shiyt 2:18 ...

in B’re’shiyt 2: 16-17
“And YHWH Elohiym commanded the man, saying ‘Of every eytz of Gan Eden you may feely eat:  17 But of the eytz of the da’at of tov and ra, you shall not eat of it: for in the yom that you eat from it you shall surely die.”

Was this command only about eating??....

The text reads...
“achol tochel”

but it is REALLY  - “achol achol”...

“It’s as if YHWH repeated Himself in order to underline the idea...”

--And we know that is how it works... when a word is repeated - it says it double strength.!

ACHAL = Aleph-Kaf-Lamed
= “the strength to control what is allowed”....

“In other words, this verb  for consumption already incorporates the concept of control.”

“The act of consuming acknowledges our responsibility to control what YHWH allows.”

Moen says...
“We can feast because He gives us permission, but we are still responsible for HOW we consume.”

This picture changes a few things...

== ACHAL is no longer just about food!

“This is about EVERYTHING YHWH gives in His place of delight!”

So Moen says...

It turns out...

“Eden is YHWH’s pleasure palace”

Moen says...

“here’s the best part.  Eden is located where YHWH delights to provide pleasure.  Eden marks the spot wherever YHWH puts the earth- creature in circumstances that encourage delighting in HIs gifts.

ACHAL is about consumption,  ---not just about eating food.”

Achal is the picture of “strength to control what is allowed.”

Moen goes on to say...

“What sets Adam apart from the rest of a creation is Adam’s willingness to allow YHWH to determine what he will eat and what he won’t eat.

Adam is not to be driven by his desires. He is to be guided by YHWH’s word.

He is to remember what YHWH said and to act accordingly.”

B're'shiyt #13 and Tazria

B’re’shiyt # 13
***************

Sh’ma

It’s an invitation!….

29 March 2014  ~  27 Adar II 5774

Torah Parashah # 27 Tazria - She conceives
Vayikra /Leviticus 12:1- 13:59 cjb p 121

B’re’shiyt # 13 - m’rachephet ....

***
Let’s start with the Torah Parashah...

turn to...
Vayikra 12:1... cjb p 121

First, let me say that it is possible that Tazria is the grossest and most disgusting Parashah in all of Torah!

It is full of rashes, and boils and scaly skin and sores with sprouting hairs that change color in wounds….

It is hard to know what to make of it.
And yet - YHWH put it in there... and every year we go over it...

It starts with
Purification after child birth
And then moves into skin problems…

But is there more to this parashah ??

In those days – the dermatologists were the priests…. and so they were the persons one would go to if there were having problems with their spiritual self  and with the physical self!

Okay - so you might get a skin sore.... but clothing probably covers it up....  you could just go on and not say anything...

But ...

This portion suggests that we examine ourselves on a regular basis to see if there are things that need healing and cleaning up!

And even before we get to the whole idea of skin diseases,
this portion talks about women being unclean with periods and after giving birth...

and we could go on in Torah and realize that there is a whole lot of unclean going on in living the life of a human being...

So we read these things and - wow - we do not understand.

But the think i know is that YHWH is purity and holiness and HE is CLEAN and HOLY.... and then there are humans.... trying to live but when we give birth we are unclean... when we touch blood we are unclean, when we touch a dead body we are unclean.... when we LIVE - it just happens that we get unclean....

But Torah doesn’t say that being unclean is sin... it just is

So then i find it interesting... YHWH points out how we are  unclean....  and then let’s read:

2Corinthians 13:5 cjb p 1451
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are living the life of trust.  Test yourselves.  Don’t you realize that Y’shua the Messiah is in you?... unless you fail to pass the test.”

“Examine yourselves.”   Don’t keep it covered up... deal with your problems!!

Read Vayikra (Lev) 13:9- 17 cjb p 122

Tzara’at = not “leprosy

Tzara’at = red or white spot on skin…

The priest diagnosed… if was tzara’at had to live outside community… priest checked every seven days…
And when it healed – declared the person clean and they could come back into community.

People thought this was leprosy… but …

A group of scholars grouped skin diseases together and called them leprasy …

and in the 9th century a scholar/priest read it as “leprosy”… and since then people all over the world thought the Bible was talking about leprosy…

One of the dead - giveaways that the Torah is not just talking about a skin disease is that tzara’at   isn’t just a skin disease …..is that …. It can be in fabric or on walls of houses…

It is dark green or dark red mold or fungus that went deep into the fibers of fabric or the stones of the house…
I think the point is... sin doesn’t just effect me - it effects my entire world around me!!

2Corinthians 13:5 cjb p 1451
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are living the life of trust.  Test yourselves.  Don’t you realize that Y’shua the Messiah is in you?... unless you fail to pass the test.”

So life makes us unclean.... and then we get cleaned up again....

and sin causes problems in every facet of my life.....contaminating and poisoning....

I am thinking it is time to stop covering things up and not being real....  and instead.... facing sins in my life and dealing with them!!

YHWH’s desire is that we be set free and healed!  Amein!!

It’s an invitation!  Pesach (Passover) is coming up in a few weeks… and we clean our homes to get the cham’etz  out of them…  let’s clean our selves up to get the sin and the profane out of us and to get CLEAN  instead of unclean.  !

**  **  **  **  **

Okay let’s switch gears a bit... and go to our B’re’shiyt study!  :)

Let’s go to page 15 in our study guide...

Last Shabbat we started

B’re’shiyt 1:2 b

“V’rucha Elohiym m’rachephet ‘al-p’eney ham-mayim.”
“And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

We talked about V’RUCHA
which is spirit, or wind or open space
Today we are going to start with

m’rachephet
“marakayfet”

It is translated as “moved”

It means = “to move, to shake, to hover over”
It is an action term

M’rachephet’s root is : resh, chet, peh
= “rachaph”

Yirmeyahu /Jeremiah 23:9 cjb p 587
“Concerning the prophets:  My heart within me is broken, all my bones are shaking; i am like a drunk, like a man overcome by wine, because of YHWH, because of his holy Words.”

The word “shaking” = “rachaph”

Thee are three possibilities that this shaking is going on...
1.  The shaking is of themselves - they are doing it on purpose
2.  It is the anti messiah
3.  They are genuinely being moved by YHWH.

This is why in Acts 2:13 when people think they are drunk and it is the Ruach HaKodesh!

Brad Scott makes an interesting side note here ... “If they were only drinking grape juice - why would you think they are drunk?”

hmm...

D’varim /Deuteronomy 32:10 cjb p 235
He found his people in desert country, in a howling, wasted, wilderness.  He protected him and cared for him, guarded him like the pupil of his eye, like and eagle that stirs up her nest, hovers over her young, spreads out her wings, take them and carries them as she flies.”

that word “hovers” here is “flutters” in other versions.
It is “rachaph”

So, in B’reshiyt 1:2 is the word “‘rachephet”
and 2 other times ... in Torah (whole Bible)

Yirmeyahu  23:9
and
D’varim 32:10

When we see this - we see the pattern that YHWH always moves first... he reaches out first...

“For YHWH so loved the world”
“we love him because he first loved us”

Here in B’re’shiyt 1:2 - he is going to move over the face of the waters first.

YHWH is going to move on your life first.
He is going to move first - so you can learn the truth.
He may move someone to come and teach it to you ... or put you in a congregation... You will see a manifestation - a move of YHWH

... This is the pattern of the beginning - because the cause must precede its effect.

The word in Greek only occurs a very few times.
it is “Saleuo”

Acts 4:31 “shaken” = rachaph

Hebrews 12:26 cjb p 1508

It says that He moved over the face of the waters.. go back to your notes to get the back ground of the “face of the waters” - the Presence on the waters”

He doesn’t really say the waters are created… but the waters in the earth are all encompassed in the parse haeretz

when we see earth we only think of dry land but really it is the whole mass….
the waters come with the earth.

 **  **

HaMayim = the waters
mem - yod- mem
Mayim
translated as WATER or waters.. only appears in one form.. - a DUAL form… used the same way Hebrew words are used in dual form = eyes, and ears and feet - things that come in pairs
because….

In Word - we have physical waters that is used to represent the fountains of living waters..
in other words  - God’s presence - even tho that may baffle scholars - that is why it appears in the dual form - representing both natural and spiritual.

B’re’shiyt 6:17  mayim is used in judgement - the flood…
to destroy all flesh.

“The same waters that cleanse and purify are the same waters of judgment.”

the same is true with the Mashiach - the same Messiah if rejected can destroy you and cause you to be separated from Yah…  depending on what you accept and reject.

Mayim also used in salvation

Yochanan /John 4:10-14..if you knew the gift of Yah… .. and he would have given you living water…

Water is a fascinating thing that does fascinating things..

It is one of the least understood things on earth
the greatest solvent… things dissolve in it..
more uses that we can imagine..
dominantly used in scripture was cleansing and judgment and purification and salvation

Vayikria /Lev 15:1-33  cjb p 126  - waters are for purification

Yesha’Yahu /Isaiah 12:3 cjb p 455 - salvation

Hitgalut /Rev 22:17cjb p 1555 -directly associated with life

Mizmore /Psalm 1:3  cjb p 791  --He who delights / mediates in Torah - he shall be like a tree planted by river.. water nourishing

Ephesians 5:26 cjb p 1463also

Hamayim / water is what was created in vs 1:1 -  and more than likely it was covering the whole earth.. now we have more details and he does the restoring process

He moves OVER the waters and then the earth comes up OUT of the waters.

He must cleanse that which cleanses first - (the water)….  then there is a mikvah baptism and all living things come forth from the earth

this is what Yah does to you heart first - he cleanses inside your heart first - fountain of living waters
then immersed - moved to body -

B’re’shiyt 1 : 9-10
prep for earth coming out of waters.

Summary...

Info on B’re’shiyt 1:1 - 1:2.. in the sense that we have water first and then we have light..

BUT -
we have learned good science has learned that over a period of time we learn more physics about world…

we can take a water molecule and introduce sonar - sound into that water the molecules  or near them.. and when the sonar frequencies are changed it effects the water…
~
The full light spectrum can be produced in the water molecule…
now extrapolate that out to the fact that water surrounded the whole earth.. and you and are 70-80 % water…

when we see smaller experiments we see everything of mass and matter has sound frequency everything is vibrating and if you change the sound frequency you change the mass and the matter.

we have experiments now that verify the fact that sound can effect the water and produce the full spectrum of light

so with that in mind.. genesis begins what water and not light…
and so that is why the bible begins with water and then says.. let there be light…   the light comes as the Ruach hovers /vibrates over the water…. the light is produced…

just like we know from science experiments

The above is over simplification but it is basically what has happened.

***
Consider….
So basically what has happened here in the very first 2 verses of B’re’shiyt….
is that we begin with 7 Hebrew words…
which read in English as
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Then there is a response of 7 Hebrew words… in B’re’shiyt 1:2 a  = a completed act in the perfect tense… hasatan falling and turning the world into empty and void / astonishingly  confused

and then Yah responds with 5 Hebrew words  of redemption
In B’re’shiyt 1:2 b
5 = the number of redemption and grace in the Word -

and finishes with the waters…

The regenerative Spirit has moved over the face of the waters… that which cleanses has been moved over by the Spirit
= that which cleanses must first be cleaned up…. so the Ruach / Spirit moves over it….

7 is the number of completion.
YHWH made the creation - and it was a COMPLETED ACT - FINISHED.

and hasatan messed it up and he thought it was a completed act…

but then YHWH comes and brings redemption!!

This is the pattern for what He does in our lives!!
This is the pattern for what He does in Isra’el!!

Right here in the first 2 sentences of the Torah - YHWH lays out the pattern for how HE works.
He creates…  satan or ourselves mess it up…
and YHWH comes and offers redemption!!!

amazing.

He gives us the plan of ALL the Torah (the Old Testament and the New Testament) right there in the first two verses!!!

It is an invitation ….

Will you consider YHWH’s plan for your life… and spend time with Him and be cleaned up by Him??

I want to go into this Moed/ Feast - cleaner then i have ever been - because i hear Him better and I see better…

This is an invitation - to get clean - to move into more freedom…
